Proposal registration process and matters needing attention

Please log on to the AVS proposal registration website (http://docreg.avs.org.cn/docreg/en/), follow the proposal registration instructions on the website, (the specific deadline is subject to the relevant regulations in each topic group) to complete the registration of the proposal in advance and Upload of the proposal.

The "Export input document list" function is newly added to the proposal registration website to obtain the latest proposal list information. If it prompts "Do you trust its source", please select "Yes".

Here is a reminder that the video team must meet at least the following conditions to adopt the proposal (attached to N2017):

1. Reasonable technology and clear description.
2. The sponsor can use the non-final version of the reference software to implement the proposed technology and provide the test results under the general test conditions, but must state that the final version of the draft standard at that time and other technologies in the reference software do not affect the performance test results of the proposed technology.
3. When necessary, the video team will set up a core test team to verify the proposed technology, and provide test results under jointly determined test conditions, and the performance meets the requirements.
4. All technologies related to subjective quality should be subject to subjective testing, and subjective test stream (or decoded video sequence) must be provided to participate in subjective testing in accordance with the subjective test specifications.
5. Provide all relevant texts that are completely consistent with the proposed technology and required in the standard document, including grammar, semantics, decoding process, etc.; during the meeting, the correctness and accuracy of the proposed technology for text revisions should be reviewed, and the adopted proposal should be in the meeting Submit the text to a standard text editor before closing.
6. At least complete the cross-validation of "source code level verification".

Please download the Chinese and English templates for proposal writing from the bottom of this page and fill in strictly according to the requirements.

When drafting the patent license commitment of the proposal, be sure to fill in the patent license commitment form as required. Remarks: Each unit needs to write its own patent license commitment form separately.

The AVS FTP password will be changed before each meeting. Please ask the AVS contact person of your organization for the latest password.

Once you find that your proposal cannot be normally registered or uploaded in the system, please contact the server administrator in time.
